A new chapter for Rachel Rogers
After ten years working with DaDa – Disability and Deaf Arts, Rachel is moving on to a new chapter of her creative career.
Since joining DaDa in 2016, Rachel has made a significant contribution to the organisation’s artistic programme, producing five editions of DaDaFest International, including the fully digital Translations in 2020 and DDFI40: RAGE in 2025, marking DaDa’s 40th anniversary.
Her work has encompassed commissioning and artist development, international partnerships, collaborative projects and organisational leadership. As Executive Producer, and subsequently Acting Joint CEO and Artistic Director during a period of transition, Rachel helped shape DaDa’s creative programme and wider organisational development. She has worked with artists, colleagues and partners across Liverpool, nationally and internationally to champion D/deaf and disabled artists and create opportunities for ambitious new work.
DaDa thanks Rachel for her ten years of commitment and contribution to the organisation, its artists and its wider networks, and wishes her every success in the future.
Rachel says:
“Working with DaDa has given me the opportunity to work alongside extraordinary artists, colleagues and partners, develop ambitious programmes and intimate projects, build partnerships in Liverpool and across the globe, and contribute to the development of disability-led arts.
“I’m proud of the work I’ve helped bring into being, the people I’ve worked alongside and the relationships we’ve built. I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow with each experience and I’m excited to see what comes next.”
