Welcome to DaDaFest Scratch 2021 On Demand

During the festival, artists tried out their new work as part of a development process, revealing these early drafts to audiences for the very first time with a view to getting feedback on what works and what doesn't. We will continue to develop these artworks towards including them in our International Festival in 2022 and that feedback will be invaluable.

The nature of Scratch performances means that they are not always slick, seamless, finished, fully formed.

Our desire to make all of these pieces of work fully accessible to live and online audiences presented us with a number of challenges, usually of a technical nature, and some of them may be apparent in the recordings of the Festival programme. Much like the opportunity that DDFS21 gave to the artists to learn about how to make positive changes to their work, it also gave us the opportunity to learn about how to make our access provisions better for next time.

As such we acknowledge that the processes we had in place were not always slick, seamless, finished or fully formed as well.

But we're learning from that and welcome being part of that process alongside our wonderful artists.

There are links for your feedback about each event below, but if you have any feedback for us regarding access, please email info@dadafest.co.uk
