DaDaFest International 2022: hybrid

DaDa Academy Showcase - DaDa Ensemble's Epic Song!

Our DaDa Academy programmes include the DaDa Ensemble, a group of disabled, Deaf and neurodivergent musicians aged 12 – 25. They include songwriters, drummers, guitarists, pianists and much more. With their incredibly wide range of skills and influences, they can rock any stage.

Now, premiered online for the first time ever, discover the music video to their Epic Song! Produced and edited by visual artist, Joe Beedles, it was inspired by online conversations with the DaDa Ensemble members about how they wanted their music to be visually represented.

The DaDa Epic Song was composed by the young musicians of the DaDa Ensemble, ahead of their brilliant live performance to audiences at Resonate Hub in 2021. Recorded at The Cabin Studios and The Friary (Liverpool Philharmonic music space) by Alec Brits and Andrew Hunt, the music was mixed by Jonathan Hering and then mastered by Alec Brits.

The project is funded by Youth Music in partnership with Resonate Music Hub, Drake Music and Live Music Now.
