David’s role at DaDaFest includes coordination of the Ensemble project and supporting any young people with musical interest on our artist development programme.

Having studied Popular Music at John Moore’s University, David has had 10 years’ experience as a drum educator and session musician. David has taught drum kit and music classes in primary schools, delivered masterclasses at Gloucester University and at the British Music Experience Liverpool.

His work as a touring session drummer has seen him tour the world extensively, appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, Radio One Live Lounge and play to 15,000 people at arenas in Europe.

Before joining the team, David worked as part of Picturehouse at FACT Liverpool for many years, during which time he promoted and organised live music events.

In his spare time David loves watching documentaries, drinking too much coffee and running.
