Everyday Inspirations: Creative Writing Workshop with Tammy Reynolds

The themes of routine, the everyday and their interruptions will be explored in this writing workshop, catered to experienced and new writers. Welcoming all genres and forms, this event will include writing bursts, inspiration from everyday objects, and will touch upon the theme of accessibility or the lack of it. With it being based in the Bluecoat, there will be an opportunity to explore the space, and find potential inspiration from the gallery.

There will be a refreshment break and a chance to mingle with other writers. All you need to bring is a something to write on and with, and an open mind.

Tammy Reynolds graduated from LJMU with a first class degree in Creative Writing. During her time at university she was an Editor of In The Red 14, an annual magazine that published new writing accompanied by open mic nights. Copies of the magazine can be found at venues & independent shops around Liverpool. She is currently the Poetry Editor for The Glass Hive, an online magazine that publishes marginalised writers.

She was awarded the second prize for The Avalon Prize competition in 2015 for her poetry, and was also shortlisted PBS Student Poetry Competition in the same year. She is also currently writing a play and collaborating with other writers around Liverpool.
