SESC presents an online event with the organisers of the DaDafest International Festival, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2025, bringing their curatorial perspectives and contemporary aspects of the poetic production of DEF artists.
Participants: Rachel Rogers (Executive Producer of the DaDafest Festival - United Kingdom), Paula Sousa Lopez (Brazil) and Péricles Silveira (Cultura Inglesa Festival - Brazil)
The event will feature accessibility resources such as Brazilian Sign Language interpretation, simultaneous English-Portuguese translation, subtitles, and open audio description. Sadly, the organisers have informed us that they are not able to provide British Sign Language at this event due to administrative limitations, but we have asked for transcripts of the event to be available afterwards upon request.
This initiative is part of the Year of the United Kingdom in Brazil, in partnership with the British Council and the Guimarães Rosa Institute, promoting new artistic connections and collaborations between Brazil and the United Kingdom through activities that connect their cultures.
Note: Participants need a mobile phone or a computer to access the event and basic knowledge of how to use these devices. After completing your online registration for the event, you will receive an email with a link to access the platform where the event will be held, up to one (1) day before the start date.
