Connect

A live broadcast of DaDaFest Scratch

We are excited to be working in partnership with youth music development organisation NYMAZ and Liverpool Philharmonic to live stream DaDaFest Scratch this July.

Connect is about supporting people who face barriers to attending live shows. It’s also following a process of work which considers audience access from the start of the artistic process.

The live streamed performance will take place at 2pm on 11 July at Liverpool Philharmonic. It will be broadcast live online by NYMAZ as part of their Connect: Resound programme.

The performance will premiere brand new music, commissioned by DaDaFest. Professional composer, Ben Lunn, is working with Royal Liverpool Philharmonic’s, Carmel Smickersgill, to create a piece of music created with input from developing musicians.

The live stream will also include an interactive music experience.

The DaDaFest Ensemble group is run in partnership with Drake Music, Live Music Now and Resonate Liverpool’s Music Hub.
