Tate Liverpool is a museum and art gallery of British and international modern and contemporary art. It is the home of the largest collection of contemporary art outside of London.

Work on display is provided from both the Tate collection and special exhibitions, which bring together painting, photography, sculpture and installations from national and international assemblages.

Tate Liverpool’s visitor numbers have exploded over the past few years, with rave reviews for past exhibitions: Transmitting Andy Warhol, the Turner Prize exhibition, Klimt, Picasso and Chagall retrospectives. It’s also the base for a range of tours, talks, workshops and activities that tie in with both current exhibitions and wider artistic themes.

Tate Liverpool is also home to an extensive book and art shop and Tate Café.
