Sarah Thewlis

A caucasian woman in her 20s with blue eyes and shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a white t-shirt with a blue heart on it.

A self-confessed disability arts nerd, Sarah Thewlis joined DaDaFest as our Marketing and Communications Officer, after completing a year-long traineeship with Unlimited, the commissioning programme supporting disabled artists, delivered by Shape Arts and Artsadmin.

When not enthusing about disabled artists on social media, Sarah writes and performs theatre, poetry and music. She's moved about a fair amount (from growing up in Spain, she's since ticked Edinburgh, London and now Liverpool off the list!) and got stuck into artistic projects across all kinds of artforms - whether writing about dinosaurs for Edinburgh Science Festival or producing absurdist short films about walnuts.

International and eclectic, she'd say she's very on-brand for DaDaFest!
