What do you do with DaDa?
I’m the Operations and Finance Manager here at DaDa. I’m responsible for the smooth running of the company. I work with the team to sort all things financial from wages to fundraising.
Tell us a bit about your background
I used to work for DaDa 15 years ago, so my career has come full circle to bring me back as part of the management. Since then, I’ve been everywhere, working at Liverpool Arab Arts Festival, Factory International, Chetham’s School of Music, universities, social housing and more. I’ve also been a school teacher and a radio DJ. I have a degree in film and creative writing and a PGDE in Drama. I’ve been acting for over 20 years, mostly in an amateur capacity but I’ve also had professional work. I love writing, acting and art and throw myself into any creative activity whenever I can.
What do you like to do outside of this work?
Mostly acting or more recently directing. I write frequently and have had written pieces professionally performed.
