Help us shape the future of disability and Deaf art, locally, nationally and internationally.

DaDa is seeking passionate, committed individuals who support DaDa’s ethos to join our Board and support the next chapter of our organisation's development.

For over 40 years, DaDa (Disability and Deaf Arts) has championed disabled, Deaf and neurodivergent artists, creating opportunities for creativity, collaboration and cultural leadership. We’re a disabled-led arts organisation dedicated to challenging barriers, changing attitudes and ensuring that disabled artists and audiences are represented, celebrated and valued across the cultural sector.

Why Join Our Board?

As a Trustee, you’ll play a vital strategic role in guiding DaDa's future, helping us strengthen our impact, grow our influence and ensure the organisation remains sustainable, ambitious and true to its values.

This is an opportunity to:

  • Contribute to an internationally respected disability arts organisation.

  • Support artistic innovation and social justice.

  • Use your skills, experience and networks to make a meaningful difference.

  • Work alongside a passionate and skilled Board and leadership team.

  • Help shape a more inclusive cultural landscape.

Who We're Looking For

We welcome applications from people with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with lived experience of disability* and expertise in:

  • Finance and accountancy

  • Legal and governance

  • Marketing, communications and digital engagement

*We use the term ‘disability’ to mean disabled, d/Deaf and/or neurodivergence.

We are committed to building a diverse and representative Board and strongly encourage applications from disabled, Deaf and neurodivergent people, people from Global Majority communities, LGBTQ+ communities and those currently underrepresented in cultural governance including young people.

Don’t worry if you don’t have all of the above skills and qualities. We highly value any lived experience and a strong commitment to DaDa’s mission and ethos.
