The event starts at 5pm and the light show will be at 6pm.

Digital specialist, Simon Mckeown sees things a little differently.

And for one night only, he’s encouraging all of us to look again at the beauty and possibilities that surround us, hidden in plain sight. His canvas? The amazing and complex Victorian facade of St Helens Town Hall.

Simon Mckeown is working with the local disability community to present a fun, exciting and visually poetic spectacle inspired by the town. Super-sized outdoor projectors, next-gen digital mapping software, and immersive soundscapes will transform the beautiful facade of St Helens Town Hall.

We Are Still Here also features a specially commissioned composition by Ailís Ní Ríain. This is Mckeown’s call to arms, and an invitation for us all to reconnect with the innovative, inspiring and contrary place we call home.

In partnership with DaDaFest and produced in collaboration with members of BuzzHub St Helens CDP.

Suitable for all ages

Running time 45 minutes

In addition to BSL interpretation, a lipspeaker is also available.
