Young DaDaFest is our annual celebration of the talents of young disabled and Deaf people. The event has been in existence since 2003 and so far there have been 15 editions, the most recent taking place in July 2016.
As of 2016, the event became a lead-in for DaDaFest International and responded to a similar theme. 2016 also saw the event expand significantly due to increased applications and demand for tickets. It included a Music based event at the Liverpool Philharmonic’s Music Room, a Performance focused event at the Liverpool Everyman and a fringe event created by students at Sandfield Park School hosted at LJMU.
Young people make key decisions on the running of Young DaDaFest and nurture their skills through our Leadership groups.
If you would like to know more, or have any ideas or questions we would be happy to talk to you about the programme and how you can get involved. Contact Sam Wade (Arts Manager) firstname.lastname@example.org or the office.
