Stacy Bias is a fat activist, artist and animator, formerly from Portland, Oregon and now living in London, UK. Past activist projects include Rad Fatty Merit Badges, FatGirl Speaks and TechnoDyke.Com. Past animation projects include VJ’s Fat Experience and Yoga for Larger Bodies. While community building formed the foundation of Stacy’s early career, more recent work combines ethnographic research, illustration and animation into humanising narratives that amplify marginalised voices.
