Young DaDaFest Ensemble

The Young DaDa Ensemble project delivers accessible music-based activities to young disabled people aged 13 – 25 across the Liverpool City Region.

Please click HERE to read our report from 2015-17.

The ensemble is now well developed and is continuing to grow and expand. For more information, to find out about joining the ensemble or to discuss ways we can work in partnership with your organisation, please contact Rachel Curson (rachelc@dadafest.co.uk / 07391 415326).

The project is delivered with specialist partners (DaDaFest, Drake Music, Live Music Now and Resonate Liverpool’s Music Hub) with funding from the Youth Music.

Performances

Each year, the Young DaDa Ensemble project culminates a spectacular performance at our Young DaDaFest: Music event. Find out more about this here or check out a video from the project on YouTube: youtu.be/wG90jacUJ5k.

Our group performed on stage at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Hall alongside afro-funk Grammy-nominee superstars Amadou and Mariam during DaDaFest International 2016!

One to One Sessions

We work in partnership with Music of Life to deliver one-to-one sessions with young people in the ensemble.  Recently two of our young people recorded a number of tracks with Curtis Watt through this. Below are some songs from the CD by Luke and Kyle:
