We are so excited to be working with Liverpool Hope University and Curious Minds to develop a research project to evaluate the impact of the DaDaFest Ensemble programme.
DaDaFest Ensemble delivers accessible music-based activities to young people in Liverpool. It presents progression routes for aspiring musicians, provides musical role models and helps to effect organisational change.
This research project will focus on the young Ensemble musicians who take part and the experiences of the lead musicians.
DaDaFest Ensemble has been running successfully for four years and this research will enable us to develop a better understanding of what works well and why, and the impact it has.
Research will take place between February and May 2019. DaDaFest will share a series of video clips later this year featuring interviews with musicians.
