Introduction

Young DaDaFest is over for another year and what a year it has been! Young DaDaFest 2016 has been our biggest ever, with three events at the Philharmonic Hall’s new Music Room, the Everyman theatre and a fringe event hosted by Sandfield Park School. Both DaDaFest events sold out and we are absolutely delighted by the responses we have received. We’d like to say well done to all of our fantastic performers as well as a big thank you to all those who bought tickets, the venues, funders and all those who helped to make the events possible – we couldn’t do it without you.

This year’s events followed on from the success of 2015’s sold-out event which saw 105 young people perform to an audience of 400 at the Liverpool Everyman. The theme for Young DaDaFest this year was “Scratch”, which leads into the overall theme of this year’s DaDaFest International festival taking place from 18 November to 3 December. Below is a selection of photographs, quotes, tweets and the Young DaDaFest 2016 yearbook, coming shortly will be a short film of the event.
