Young DaDaFest is an event designed to showcase the Creative talents of young Deaf/Disabled people in the North West.
The event was held at the NOVAS Centre for Contemporary Art on 26 November 2008 and focused on the best of the best. We looked for one to two performances from each school in order to celebrate quality and raise the aspirations of young Disabled/Deaf people with schools getting behind their nominated acts and celebrating their combined achievements.
- 150 Young people attended from the four participating schools
- 72 Young People submitted work for the Visual Arts Award
- 49 Young People submitted work for the Creative Writing Award
- Over 40 Young People performed on stage to a crowd of 200
